Barney Bubbles liked to smell things.

 

Kate Moon says: I went to the farmers market and then took a walk along the sea with my pooch and a friend and her pooch. Today was my perfect kind of day. Autumn is in the air and the weather is fabulous. Blue sky, great clouds, nice breeze. Lots of sailboats dotting the water. Sitting on my deck yesterday reading a book. my pooch, Bodhi, indicated that she wanted to smell the book. As soon as she started sniffing, i remembered how Barney loved to smell almost everything that he picked up, especially books. just a little sniff to check it out. i always found it totally reasonable and even find myself doing it every so often. just another lovely little memory. Oh, also the yellow cardigan.
