I was designer of many scrappy, bodged-up pages in the psychedelic London based magazine Oz that helped set the scene for punk. Beginning with the fun and games poster issue of Oz number 12 that I worked in collaboration with Barney Bubbles/Colin Fulcher, the late summer of 1967. Then off ‘n on working with the editors Jim Anderson, Felix Dennis or Richard Neville, until I left for California in 1973. By then the magazine had folded, Jim had left to write in Bolinas, California and Richard to Australia to write and present a TV show in Sydney, Felix was beginning to get vastly rich off sharks, and eventually learning to be a well respected poet.
